Roots Industries proudly celebrated Environment Day 2024 on June 5, with the global theme of “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.” To instill the importance of environmental stewardship among our employees, we organized several meaningful activities across our plants.
Our facilities displayed Environment Awareness Banners showcasing this year’s theme to raise awareness about sustainable practices. Employees began each shift by taking an Environment Day Pledge, reaffirming our shared commitment to eco-friendly actions.
A Sapling Plantation Drive was organized, where employees planted saplings on company grounds, symbolizing our dedication to land restoration. Saplings were also distributed to employees and the public, encouraging green practices beyond the workplace.
To further engage our team, we held an Eco Contest, promoting innovation in sustainability at the plant level. Finally, we conducted Pollution Under Control (PUC) checks on employees’ vehicles, promoting cleaner air around our facilities.
These initiatives reflect our dedication to environmental responsibility, inspiring each member of our team to actively participate in building a more sustainable future.
